Sporting Injury

Sporting Injury claims are becoming more and more common; however they are a particularly difficult area in which to make a claim. Due to the nature of sports, it is more likely than not than a personal injury will be accidental and thus a claim cannot be made due to the injured party willingly taking part in a potentially risky endeavour.

However, if it can be proven that another participant acted with reckless disregard or intent, thus breaking the rules of the game being played, then a claim is possible. In these cases, eye-witness reports, most preferably from a referee, will be required, as will proof of the personal injury and proof that it resulted from an action that is illegal in regards to the game being played.
