£300,000 in personal injury compensation is sought by a motorbike pillion passenger after being involved in a serious accident.
The accident took place in June last year when Nathan Atkins was just 12 years old. He was riding as a pillion passenger on his father’s motorbike as they travelled along Oxhey Lane near Watford. Unfortunately, they collided with a Ford Fiesta and in the accident, Nathan suffering serious injury.
Consequently, he was rushed to hospital unconscious and put on a ventilator. He had suffered a head injury that was causing him post traumatic amnesia. Although, the boy had a good recovery, he has been left with cognitive problems that result in difficulties with memory, attention and fatigue.
Now, the Watford Observer is reporting that with the help of his step-mum, Nathan is making a motorbike accident compensation claim for over £300,000 against the insurers of the Ford Fiesta.
